Amazing story shedding light on mental illness and its repercussions. Story of true human connections beyond paparazzi version of events. I was so glad to see both sides of this story, especially Chris. I hope his life gets easier as the years go on.

Based on a true character little known history of South Carolina indigo farming and production. It portrays life of a visionary girl with great ambitions and even bigger plans. It’s a story of friendship, love and perseverance. Great narration, fantastic experience.

I am not sure how readers rated this book at4.5 stars. The story is convoluted and doesn’t adhere to any facts in criminal investigation. Story makes no sense and characters are strangely adjusting to whatever story line the writer spins. The only thing I like was a performance by various narrators. Wish I could get my money back!

Not worth listening even for free

Characters are superficial and not well developed, the plot itself was a cross between mystery and romance novel, leaning towards latter. Everything in the story was very predictable and without any depth. I typically finish all the books I start but this one was just too painful to listen to.I would not recommend this book.
