Whoever did the voice for /approved the voice for Mitchell —whyyyyy??? It’s just awful and I’m only half way through. Please consider a change if the character is in any future books.

Inner dialogue...rambling tantrums...and a cliffhanger

I love AJ Huss and Johnathan as a narrator is amazing but put the two together to write books- No. I pushed my way through this book and the twist in chapter 18 got me to give up a credit for book 2 but listener beware! Tyler’s inner dialogue/rambling is sad/annoying/and dizzying! This has the potential to be a great story but it is so bogged down with useless swearing, ridiculous (and not in a funny way) sex scenes..and the rambling fits Tyler has. About the sex... in Johnathans EOBS he even says he was ‘down on the floor making sure physically someone could do the ridiculous scenes he was coming up with’ - ugh

Book two and I am hanging on by a thread but Tyler ‘s ridiculous rambling tantrums are almost as annoying as the lame sex scenes. I love AJ Huss books but now her new partnership ...well it feels like two people are writing this book and Huss is dumbing down her skills. Love the narrators and the story line but getting through the ‘rambling’ ...just be prepared!

First off I love JA Huss and have loved most all of her books...until this one. The story was just boring, the sex scenes were so-so and the narrators were awful. I finally just skipped to the last chapter and then listened to the EOBS in case there was something I might need to know later.

I only stuck this out because I know how amazing JA Huss’s books are/can be and be read/listened to others that take place later on. I wanted to go back and get caught up on these characters stories. Honestly had I started with this book I don’t think I would have made it through the series.
