if you've watched the cinematics for legion then the first hour of the book is boring. majority of the book is character dialogue about current events and no real action. however, it picks up in the last couple of hours and well worth the boring wait for it. this book has me pumped for the next expansion.

Too sad too soon

Love how the story progressed until I got to the last few chapters. The fantasy hot reality really hard and left me feeling as though I lost these people rather than just a simple character.

Crudely Good

Not much into crude language. The writer did an excellent job of telling the story. The sarcastic narration fit perfectly with the main character. If you're someone who enjoys fun facts this book is full of them: everything to Devil's Tower to premature cow birth. I want to give this five stars but the language took one away for me. Probably just my openly conservative mind. I will be buying the next book, though.

Loved the main story. Too many plots and loose ends. Loved having multiple villains but made the ending anticlimactic for me. It is a good read if you enjoy getting out of reality and into a fantastical world.

Yet again Salvatore gives us exactly what every fan of fantasy wants. Little romance, little political intrigue, lots of fighting and that always present cliffhanger for the next book. Nothing pleases me more than to see Drizzt have to return and face his evil race. If you are just starting on your adventures with Drizzt you could do worse than pledge yourself to Salvatore's 30+books and counting.
