Is there credible proof that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God? In The Case for Christ, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and New York Times bestselling author, retraces his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith and builds a captivating case for Christ's divinity. In this revised and updated edition of The Case for Christ, Strobel cross-examines a dozen experts with doctorates from schools such as Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandeis, asking hard-hitting questions—and taking a deeper look at the evidence from the fields of science, philosophy, and history.

Best depiction of the crucifixion...
Revisado: 04-07-19
A great read from this journalist perspective. The depiction of the crucifixion and the evidence behind, is the best I have ever heard. I enjoyed each of the interviews. A recommended read, especially if you enjoy apologetics.

Historia
You can believe because of the evidence, not in spite of it. For the first 35 years of his life, J. Warner Wallace was a devout atheist. After all, how can you believe a claim made about an event in the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence? Then Wallace realized something. Christianity was a lot like the cold cases he solved as a homicide detective - cold cases that turned out to have enough evidence, eyewitnesses, and records to solve.

From A Detective's Perspective
Revisado: 02-02-19
I enjoyed this book. It's not the type of book I would normally read, but was an assigned reading by a LifeGroup Leader from my church.
I enjoy watching a good detective show so I found the story interesting. This book gave me a different perspective when now watching these types of shows and when reading the scriptures. I had not approached the scriptures this way before. It broadened my thinking and I found it to be a rewarding read. Recommend.

Historia
Introverts have gifts for the church and the world. But many churches tend to be extroverted places where introverts are marginalized. Some Christians end up feeling like it's not as faithful to be an introvert. Adam McHugh shows how introverts can live and minister in ways consistent with their personalities. He explains how introverts and extroverts process information and approach relationships differently and how introverts can practice Christian spirituality in ways that fit who they are.

Worthy Read
Revisado: 03-29-18
I enjoyed this book. I found several parts that made me laugh, as I could totally relate being an introvert myself. It was a little slow in places. However, I feel it is a worthy read for Pastors and anyone in church leadership.

Great Read
Revisado: 11-14-17
This was very personal and informative book narrated by the Author, a good storyteller. A real life glimpse into the struggle for truth and the deep seated love for family and tradition. The triumph of truth in the midst of fear of rejection. Strong insight into both the faith of Islam and Christianity. Highly recommend.
