Loveeedddd this series. Really felt like I was watching a documentary while only listening to it. Splendid research and interviews. Hard subject to listen to without getting teary eyed. If you like documentaries you can hear and feel like you can see the reenactment.

Beginning is a little slow but once you get into the expedition and get past the softness of the narrators voice, it picks up. The beautiful and terrifying description makes you feel like you are there and that you can do anything you set your mind to.

Imagine it were possible to bring the characters from a book to life. Not like when you listen to an audiobook with such enchantment that the characters seem to jump off the pages and into your bedroom...but for real. Imagine they could actually climb out of the pages and into our world. Then imagine if those characters brought their world into ours.

Brought Me Back to My Childhood

This is the very first book that made me fall in love with books. Having a traumatizing childhood, this book was my safe haven. I never thought it could get better until I listened to the audio version. Quite magical of a story and even more magical with Lynn Redgrave’s voice.
