This book is definitely different than his other work, but capture the perfectly imperfect moments of our lives. He also encapsulate how one decision can impact the trajectory of rest of our lives.

I rooted for Billy. I swore at Billy. I cried with Billy. I definitely identified with Billy. Check out this book, you will not be disappointed.

The wait is over

It definitely took me a while to get use to Ray Porter’s voice after Wil Wheaton narrated the first two books. Most of my questions were answered in this book. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I have new questions. Can’t wait for book 4.

Great book

After reading the reviews I was really apprehensive on spending a credit on it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the book was heartbreaking, hilarious, and honest. That honestly, I believe, could be construed as an egotistical actor absolutely full of himself. However, that honesty was raw and unwavering.

This story was more about the mental health of a bright woman who believed her house was alive. I waited through the end of the story hoping it would get better on to be let down. Definitely would skip.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jim, duh!

What does Jim Breuer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Probably going off script and making it seem like you're having a conversation with him as he recites stories from his life. There were lots of "um" and "uh" that you're trained to not do during public speaking. However, this is something most people do in their day-to-day conversations with friends and family.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were several. The part about the nagging sensation to talk his brother and other gut feelings that he had which ended with heartbreak.

Any additional comments?

My husband had been a huge Jim Breuer fan for years and he's constantly trying to get me to watch him. I needed something to get me through my day at the office so I picked this audiobook and I regret not heading to my local comedy club when Jim Breuer was in town. This was an absolutely insightful book that made me laugh out loud and tear up. There's a lot of heavy topics but funny stories along with way.

I seriously hoped this was going to be an amazingly spooky book to listen to while working. The performance is monotone and flat.
