Historia
In Measure What Matters, Doerr shares a broad range of first-person, behind-the-scenes case studies, with narrators including Bono and Bill Gates, to demonstrate the focus, agility, and explosive growth that the Objectives and Key Results system has spurred at so many great organizations. This book will help a new generation of leaders capture the same magic.

Not as upset with the book as Bill Gates.
Revisado: 07-07-18
I purchased this book because I read that Bill Gates recommended it to anyone who wanted to be a better manager. I feel like everything discussed in the book is intuitive and I am REALLY disappointed if people are being put into managerial positions not already knowing this basic knowledge. It seemed like I was listening to the same paragraph rephrased over and over for 8 hours. I don't feel like this was going to make me better at anything so I kind of feel like Bill Gates should pay me back. It seems like this person is trying to really hype up some acronym they came up with that doesn't even describe anything new. The author even has the audacity to say no one did any kind of analysis of their business until Ford... really, never? Our ancestors were just really dumb? How did they accomplish all that they did just random and without goals? Way to gloat about your intelligence (or lack of)! ;D Anyway, not trying to be mean. I just feel like I got scammed. I would have been pissed if this was required reading for any kind of a class considering all I had to do was Google OKR and figure out what the book was going to talk about, and yes, I made a point to listen through the whole book to confirm that. I would have NEVER made it through this actually reading it on paper! In conclusion, I feel kind of insulted but I think more by Bill Gates than anyone.

The title is misleading.

Any additional comments?
The book is more of a 'historical cases' and theory of law... you will learn nothing useful as far as how to actually apply the legal system personally.

One of the grilling hot seats of controversies that breed not only human and public discrimination but fierce judgment is the issue of homosexuality. The grilling questions are: Are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people corruptions of human nature and dignity? Or are they the design of creation that expresses uniqueness and evolution? These essential questions are crucial in order to address the root issue. And this book was created for that purpose.

All of it but the end.

As long as the doctrine is followed by the number of people it is there will always be those who follow it exactly. Those who claim to still be Islamic but not anti LGBTQ are just saving face on the spot while smugly supporting the extremists. They CAN NOT reconcile.
