Historia
For two thousand years, cadavers have been involved in science's boldest strides and weirdest undertakings. They've tested France's first guillotines, ridden the NASA Space Shuttle, been crucified in a Parisian laboratory to test the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin, and helped solve the mystery of TWA Flight 800. For every new surgical procedure, from heart transplants to gender reassignment surgery, cadavers have been there alongside surgeons, making history in their quiet way.

Historia
In Oklahoma City, veteran investigative journalists Andrew Gumbel and Roger G. Charles puncture the myth about what happened on that day - one that has persisted in the minds of the American public for nearly two decades. Working with unprecedented access to government documents, a voluminous correspondence with Terry Nichols, and more than 150 interviews with those immediately involved, Gumbel and Charles demonstrate how much was missed in the official investigation.

idk if it's just me but this story was very dry. there were so many characters and the timeline kept jumping it was very hard to keep straight.

LOVED THIS BOOK
Revisado: 04-17-23
I've always been curious about the brains of mass shooters and this explains it in such a clear way. I'd recommend anyone who is having trouble dealing with our current gun crisis give this a listen. as well as ppl who have ppl in their life who their concerned COULD commit a mass shooting. it really breaks down on what we as a society can do to stop the epidemic.

not my favorite from John Douglas but it's intresting to actually hear someone from law enforcement criticize mishandling cases. if wrongful conviction is something ur intrested in its not a bad read.

go listen to the podcast
Revisado: 01-04-22
I love these boys and Marcus did great research. I've listened to this book twice and I enjoyed it a lot! the only thing negative I have to say is perhaps the podcast format didn't translate well into a book where Ben's and Henry's comintary seemed to break the flow of marcus' story telling. give the book a chance but if its not ur thing check out THE LAST PODCAST ON THE LEFT.

this was a fairly good book but it kind of left you wanting more. you'd think John would have a bit more to say but TBH I found some of his theories a bit lack luster.
