Historia
Tupac Shakur is one of the greatest and most controversial artists of all time. More than a quarter of a century after his tragic death in 1996 at the age of just twenty-five, he continues to be one of the most misunderstood, complicated, and prolific figures in modern history. Drawing on exclusive access to Tupac’s private notebooks, letters, and uncensored conversations with those who loved and knew him best, this estate-authorized biography paints the fullest and most intimate picture to date of the young man who became a legend for generations to come.

Sometimes a yes sometimes a no
Revisado: 03-20-25
The book is good for a tv show or documentary but not for listening or reading, it goes through a lot of details that you don’t find relevant and you end up in a parallel story that you find it boring to listen to and becomes like a never ending book. Good narrator though

In Clarity and Connection, Yung Pueblo explores how intense emotions accumulate in our subconscious and condition us to act and react the ways we do. With his distinctive voice, at once spare and evocative, the author guides us through the excavation and release of the past that is required for growth.

The only thing I didn’t like was the interview at the end, found it long and more of a podcast instead of something part of the book

If you like everything self-help, you’ll like this one.
Revisado: 08-04-22
I was finally able to listen to this audiobook that I had high expectations for, and it didn’t disappoint. It brings different and new points of view to add to the table in the self-help field. I liked it.
I gave it 4 stars in the story section because it didn’t have the name of each chapter, and that detail makes every audiobook look and feel professional and with the listener in mind.

Are you tired of feeling f*cked up? If you are, Gary John Bishop has the answer. In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf--ked version of yourself. "Wake up to the miracle you are," he directs. "Here's what you've forgotten: You're a f--king miracle of being." It isn't other people that are standing in your way; it isn't even your circumstances that are blocking your ability to thrive. It's yourself and the negative self-talk you keep telling yourself.

A good kickstart
Revisado: 07-10-22
These may look simple or things that we know by now but it’s a good kickstart or reminder that we can make it. The author himself is also the narrator and adds emphasis with his voice without sounding exaggerated or uncomfortable.

Excellent
Revisado: 06-24-22
Even if one is in an intermediate or somewhat advanced level of dating this book will bring refreshing insights and eye-opening knowledge. It is one good book to revisit in the future as well. The only part I disagree with or wasn’t too convinced about it was about sending an email to a woman as a mean of communication, it is valid but not something it’s too used these days, however it is to be listened and also see what applies to one’s own culture and type of women we’re dealing with.

Historia
James Allen's From Poverty to Power (1901) and As a Man Thinketh (1902) stand as seminal texts in the self-help genre that have served as sources of inspiration since their publication at the beginning of the 20th century. Loosely based in its principles around the Biblical proverb "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he," As a Man Thinketh asserts the powerful idea that belief is central to bringing about positive events in one's life.

Awesome
Revisado: 05-24-22
The only thing I would change about this audiobook is the narrator he’s great but since he’s more of an European accent some words were difficult to understand and I had to decrease the speed of it, I suggest a narrator with American accent for this side of the audible audience and this for the European market.
When it comes to the audiobook. This is an eye-opening, wake-up call audiobook. I always listened to it in complete silence and doing nothing but listening to it since there’s to much knowledge to absorb from it.

"While the history books are filled with tales of obsessive visionary geniuses who remade the world in their images with sheer, almost irrational force, I've found that history is also made by individuals who fought their egos at every turn, who eschewed the spotlight, and who put their higher goals above their desire for recognition." It’s a humbling reminder and calling to keep in mind to identify when our ego gets or could get in our way and cause us a bad experience or results. Nice and clear voice from the narrator, the author himself.
