Very exciting tale of an ordinary guy becoming an extraordinary girl, and reveling in her new self. I read this book as a Kindle, but hearing it read aloud brings out a whole new level of pleasure. Peitho is a new name here, at least I don't see her listed elsewhere, but Dana is promising more stories read by her to come. There's a large catalog of D.L. Savage books to choose from that will make excellent audiobooks, but one hopes at some point the sequel to this one, Celebrity Toy, will get the Peitho treatment, and we'll hear her delightful voice tease out every bit of Julia and Mia's further adventures.

He gets off with a little help from his friends.

Ok, just to start, I had read this earlier in here shorts collection, and I received a free credit from the author which I used to purchase this book. It's not very long, butI wanted to hear the audio version, especially to hear Scottie Calif's reading. I love her narrations, she is perfect for contemporary settings, with a different voice from those who narrate Belle's more fantastic settings. She gives the story a natural, realistic take, with a regular person's surprise at being in a fantastic situation. She also does an awesome job at drawing out every seductive syllable of the erotic scenes, s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g out the ectstasies of the main character. The situation is interesting, and I really want more. There's only a couple of sex scenes, and the promise of Trevor's next adventures demands a follow-up. He/she is finding out all kinds of new things, with some friends who are really helpful with all her needs. If one has to be stuck like this for awhile, this would be a fun way to go about it. Although Belle's characters tend to find going back harder than they thought. She has said her focus is now on more romantic swaps than the more hardcore earlier shorts, but might return to them someday, so if you like this, contact her to request more. This has elements that could lead to a romantic HEA, so perhaps it could be expanded. With more sex, please.

Whom gods destroy, they first make...sexy?

I reviewed this book as a text on Amazon, so I'll try to focus more on the audio version, which I received as a free credit from the author. The story has a rich and elaborate descriptive quality, both in the recounting of the setting and the feelings and pleasures of the main character. Juliana Solo does a masterful job of bringing the lush details to life, stretching and emphasizing each word to fit the mood. One of the most memorable scenes is, interestingly, not a sex scene, but one set in the underworld with the rivers of myth.Her handling of the often challenging Greek vocabulary is well done, tackling words like Acheron, Lethe and...tsunami. (Ok, so it's not strictly period, and there a number of anachronisms. Just go with it. ) I've heard some of her other readings of Belle's works, and would recommend seeking them out. Overall, a nice story, maybe not the Odyssey, but a good new tale of the Greek Gods.

Tabletop game turns the tables

I had read this previously, the first Alyson Belle book I have read, and received a free audio book credit from her. I liked the premise, a sexy board game causing mischief, and I like the characters, but I found the ending kind of strange rather than erotic. The guys are basically nice, just wanting something wild with their girls, and find themselves in for more than they bargained for, although not ultimately unpleasant. They wanted the girls to let loose, and boy do they. Swaps usually focus on guys discovering female pleasures, but the girls really like their new parts, and teasingly dominating the boys. Maya's dominance of "Connie" is very erotic, loving but unyielding. I would read a story where they got stuck that way for a week or two, with Maya making Connie her submissive little girlfriend. I'm surprised that after discussing oral sex early on, the guys don't get to experience it as girls, either giving or receiving. The last part of the story is where it gets bizarre, even the characters think so. The game world is supposed to be a sexy bacchanal, but it just comes off as strange and not seductive. I thought it might push the characters to new limits, maybe exchanging partners, hinted at early on. A group love encounter, with the guys as girls experimenting with each other, or with more changes to their bodies. Instead there's a strange plotline involving the cabin's original owners. I suppose too much experimentation might have impacted the romantic elements, where the characters discover what they really want and like. Overall, it has some good moments, and the narration by Sophia Chambers is fun and erotic, but this is not the best of Belle's work.

Every scene crazier than the last.

I've read several of Reed James' books, but I hadn't really seen much of this particular series. I received a free audio download from the author, and decided to give this one a try. It is really out there. A pregnant beauty pageant, with live sex acts on tv- I'd tune in for that. This is clearly designed as a fun romp, and it is, over the top sexual shenanigans. The narrator is particularly talented, switching voices and accents easily, and managing to read the outrageous scenes without breaking up. Special credit for working in the later verses of the Star Spangled Banner, which I always wanted someone to do at a public event
I've got to go check out the rest of this series, it seems wonderfully mad.

In space, everyone can hear you moan

I had read this story on kindle previously,and am, now reviewing the audio version, for which I received a free download for an honest review from the author. This is definitely not one of the romances Belle has begun to specialize in. It is an interesting adventure, featuring James T. Kirk, er, Mitchell, waking up in the wrong body far in the future.(The last episode of the original Star Trek had Kirk swapped by an irate woman angry at her role as a woman in Starfleet. I wonder if this was any inspiration for the story). The story focuses at first on his adaptation, or lack thereof, to his new body and situation, and provides plenty of sexual episodes and experiences. It soon becomes a thriller as Mitchell explores the true story behind his predicament and his resentment at losing his alpha male status. There really isn't any love story here, as often shows up even in Belle's
earlier works, and the eroticism of the sex scenes, which is considerable and constant, is tinged with the frustration of the main character, who thoroughly enjoys the sex but resents being made helpless by it. It gets progressively darker in tone because of that. The narrator, Rose Lane, does a fair job with Mitchell's role, but some of the other characters, particularly Lana, seemed a bit flat. It also took a little while for the sex scenes to sound energetic, and didn't always convey the helpless ecstasy Mitchell was trapped in, at least not to the extent I've heard in other narration of Belle's work. I do recommend this story, and appreciate the superabundance of sexual content, appropriate for a story about restarting the human race.

Rub a dub dub, there's a girl in the tub

I had read this previously, and wanted to hear it to compare. Juliana Solo has am excellent voice, giving great slow detail to the erotic scenes as well as emotion to the more romantic ones. This being, as it says, a gender swap romance, there is greater weight given to character's emotions and thoughts than most swap erotica. I might have liked more sex scenes, but that probably would have pulled away from the author's love story. Given that the main character is a high libido man who becomes female, and has a lesbian friend with similar drives, I thought there might be more between them to relieve sexual frustration, with another or longer sex scene. Perhaps between chapters. I know Belle's stories are standalones, but it would be interesting if these modern swaps linked somehow, even peripherally. A luncheon of swapped ladies could yield lively conversation, or a Facebook group. None of the characters are really interested in how any of this is possible, just the results, but I'd,like to see Madame Orlando again. I suspect there is a story there, it seems hinted at, that could be developed in its own right. Also notable is that potential downsides of a swap are brought up, like pregnancy and unwanted male attention, usually ignored in the genre. It's a nice sweet, not particularly surprising swap tale, but one that raises possibilities for further exploration. I received a free audible copy of this book.

Sexy gender swap that leavea you wanting more.

I originally read this as part of Alyson Belle's shorts collection, but I wanted to hear the audio version. Scottie Calif has a really sultry voice, and it makes the scenes all the more erotic, as well as being a good narration of the storyline. My only caveat is that, like the other reviewer said, this is only the beginning of the story, and I'd really like to hear Scottie read some more.I've asked the author, maybe someday, she says. Until then, she's read a few more audio books, I'll have to check them out. I received this audio book from the author as a free promotion.

Hot barbarian sex

The only thing better than reading one of Alyson Belle's stories is hearing a hot narration by a sexy reader. There are plenty of intense erotic scenes in this story, which also holds together as an adventure tale and romance. I received this audio book as a free promotion by the author.
