Revelation is a lens that puts the entire Bible into focus. The lens is focused on the person of Jesus Christ, and his destiny is imminent. This is a book of victory: We are overcomers! We are the ultimate winners in the game of life! (I read the ending: We win!) One of the reasons this book strikes us as strange is because of our lack of understanding concerning the Old Testament. The Book of Revelation consists of 404 verses that contain over 800 allusions to the Old Testament. These are detailed, along with Chuck's analysis of the design and structure of this fascinating book.

An unveiling of the unveiling
Revisado: 06-13-21
An insightful pairing of biblical account coupled with historical references. The result is a comprehensive teaching of one of the most fascinating books of the Bible. You will find yourself reading chapters over and over again to capture the depth of the knowledge being imparted. One of the things I like most about this book is that it encourages all of us to be Berean Christians. Many perspectives are presented and we are all encouraged to perform deeper research to formulate our own beliefs. Very well done and I know I will leverage it as a reference as I continue my studies.

This just makes sense...
Revisado: 04-20-13
Where does Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How It Can Help You Find - and Keep - Love rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Ranks high on the list of relationship guides.
What did you like best about this story?
Common sense approach with realistic examples to help you define your own relationship style, as well as the style of those in relationships with you. I was able to evaluate past, current, and potential future relationships to understand why some worked or did not work. Refreshing to have a road map to help me stay on track.
What does Walter Dixon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He brings the concepts to life and makes me want to continue listening. Great job!
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
I learned that the style of the other person dictates the style I employ. I tend to "switch" between all three styles based on who I am with. I become "avoidant" when with an "anxious" person when my core style is "secure" and I'm attracted most to another secure person. Fascinating...Great job making the definitions clear and the quizzes revealing.
