Monotone delivery of a summarized subject
Revisado: 01-29-22
This is definitely a difficult audiobook to listen through. the narrator delivers what is a mostly dry text in a monotone with next-to-no drama.
The material is a fairly uninteresting summary of concepts better worked by other authors. The examples given are lightweight and could be explored further.
The best part of this book is the conclusion, which is coincidentally the longest. The author gains a bit of passion here and presents more actionable information. I enjoyed some of the laws and principles touched upon and wished the whole audiobook was the same.

Historia
There's something going bump on the Metropolitan line, and Sergeant Jaget Kumar knows exactly whom to call. It's PC Peter Grant's specialty.... Only it's more than going 'bump'. Traumatised travellers have been reporting strange encounters on their morning commute, with strangely dressed people trying to deliver an urgent message. Stranger still, despite calling the police themselves, within a few minutes the commuters have already forgotten the encounter - making the follow-up interviews rather difficult.

More like a teen's book than Peter Grant story.
Revisado: 11-09-17
The plot was OK but overall the story is missing much of the details and little twists that I find enjoyable in the rest of the series. The feel is closer to a young adult story, minus the awkward love interest. This is probably due to the focus being more on Abagail and the length of the book.
Even with those detractors, Mr Holdbriok-Smith entertains. His characters have unique voices and atritudes which I appreciate in an audio book.
