Frank Perretti Novel About Christian Legacy

This novel was so poignant in describing how someone's standing up for Christ, though the whole world was against them, can leave a legacy that is passed on to generations of a family, even when they profess to not believe. It is a picture of how God watches over prodigals and the unmistakable products of righteous prayers for family members. I so love how Frank Perretti paints pictures in words of how God never gives up on anyone. His novels are always a must read!

Another Great Frank Perretti Novel

Though I found the subject matter disturbing, I'm sure this is happening in the world, with varying subjects, such as virus or bacterial manipulation, not just the genetic mutations on animals as described here. As graphic as this novel was, it speaks to the way humans try to play God, rather than believe in Him, and the disastrous consequences of straying from God's creation. Highly recommend as always!

This story is an excellent reminder of how we can slowly become disillusioned by our faith in God, rebel against Him, but also realize that God waits for us patiently to return to Him. What a beautiful story of redemption, but also a story of how we can allow our unforgiveness to consume us & how our own pride blinds us. Frank Perretti does not disappoint!

Great story with so much symbolism

I was again on the edge of my seat! Frank Perreti is such a blessing! Sin as a growing, hungry dragon consuming, enticing, & deceiving so many. The symbolic way the town hides the dragon & their own sin, and the burning of it in their hearts causing pain, turning to a black, staining ooze that eventually sears their conscience is so true to our human condition when leaving God out of our lives, souls, & spirits. What a riveting story.
