Historia
Rich Cohen’s Murder in the Dollhouse is the chilling story of Jennifer Dulos, a beautiful, rich suburban mother who dropped her kids off at the New Canaan Country School one morning and vanished. Her body has never been found. Dulos was in the midst of an ugly divorce—one of the most contentious in Connecticut state history. The couple, a beautiful, highly connected pair, met at Brown University, had five children, and led what appeared to be a charmed life. In the wake of her disappearance, Dulos’s husband and his girlfriend were arrested.

not wowing
Revisado: 01-09-24
Voice is always soft and often without emotion. most of the book is about her search for God which results in a discover of a parent faith. Jada then tries to "sell" you join her.

Narration seems to be a rough version, not final
Revisado: 05-16-23
The story is somewhat interesting. However, I did not finish the book due to the narration. She reads the hook slow and deliberately, like a children's book. I also don't like that she takes deep breaths, coughs, and repeats sentences she makes mistakes reading. it really seems like this was not ready to be released.

Revisado: 05-17-22
Very repetitive. Too many back stories. I couldn't finish it due to so many back stories I forget what I am listening to. Then once I get into the trial it is tje exact same as the beginning.

Historia
Stephen Smith is the boy who did not exist. Born out of wedlock in the early 1960s, Steve's parents - both devout Catholics - had felt so 'shamed' by their son's illegitimate birth that they hid him away from the world by locking him in the cellar...for 13 years. Apart from a few admissions to hospital as a result of his 'imprisonment', Steve remained in the coal cellar of the family home where he was deprived of daylight, his childhood, school and human contact until he'd reached his teenage years.

not a story of interesting patients
Revisado: 06-03-21
was not able to make it through the 2nd chapter. the stories of patients are interesting, but all of his thoughts about the healthcare system and thought process took away from the story I wanted. if you want just patient stories, don't bother with this book.
