What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I'm a fan of WWII but this book was far from what I expected.

Would you be willing to try another book from P.R. Reid? Why or why not?

No.this book sounded like a dull Sgt Schultz and Col Klink, with the Germans sounding like idiots and I'm no fan of the Nazi's.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tim Woodward?

Almost anyone would have been better

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Colditz Story?

Description of all areas of Colditz was more than I could process

Winston of course.

Was The Last Lion: Winston Spencer Churchill, Volume 3 worth the listening time?

Again, yes because I was interested in the subject matter

Susan Ericksen narration? You've got to kidding.

Would you try another book from J. D. Robb and/or Susan Ericksen?

I couldn't finish this one. it took three chapters to figure out who the characters were. I finally gave up after part one. really bad narrative. think you should give me a credit. using two or three voices may have made it worth listening too.

Don't know. Couldn't finish this one because the narration was horrible!

He almost makes the disturbing issues comical. I laughed more than once.

War that came early

I gave up after about seven hours. It was hard to follow a story line when the switch from one group story line to another happened so often. I love most of his work but this one was too hard for me to handle. Part of the problem might be the sound quality which was not up to the standards I am accustomed to from your audio.
