Worst performance on audible

I listened to the story reader for about three chapters before I could stand it no longer. She read word by word like a robot and it so distracted from the story that I cannot continue listening. I was granted a refund by the Audible folks, thank goodness. Don't waste your money.

Unfortunately, this story had a very predictable plot of a police officer investigating murders that is not trusted by her superiors to do the job, but we all know that she is doing it and her superiors will soon find out.A nice twist at the end, but too little too late at the end of the story we all know.

Captivating!

I couldn't wait to get back into my car to keep hearing more of the story. I felt that the actor's voice for the main character was absolutely spot on. The only reason I did not give the performance five stars is the actor's portrayal of women's voices was pretty annoying.

A mesmerizing audible book! I couldn't wait to get back into the car for my commute each day to jump back into this well-read heartbreaking true story. I am now hooked on arctic non-fiction!
