Body of contradictions.
Revisado: 04-10-24
I liked the story overall, but there were so many contradicting responses the characters experiences within seconds, for an example having cold chill and then breaking out in a sweat or Andrew being so weak he needed help walking while moments before he was carrying Jane.

Lots of family drama
Revisado: 11-21-23
The story kept my attention. There were a lot of twists and turns in the story. The southern drawls were a little distracting, and Alex didn’t sound like a northerner at all. I would still recommend the book. Overall a good story.

I never intended to fall in love. This girl had goals and guys were an unwelcome distraction. Until I met Garrick, my sophomore year of college, and he blasted through the walls I kept around my heart, tearing them down.

Great story
Revisado: 11-21-23
This was a great story. There were a lot of twists and turns and that kept my attention. The relationship were great and the characters were well developed. The one complaint is Garrick is rich enough to have an electric wheelchair. That really threw me, but I would still recommend the book.

An awesome story until the ending
Revisado: 10-25-23
The Sound of Rain was an awesome story. The main character successfully weaved in an out of a criminal case. The story was captivating and very well performed. The ending was a disappointment. One cop was arrested, but a lot of people went free with little to no accountability. They weren’t even questioned by police. A lot of ruined lives with and besides the one person everybody else went scot free. Very unsatisfying.
