Historia
Neil Josten is out of time. He knew when he came to PSU he wouldn't survive the year, but with his death right around the corner he's got more reasons than ever to live. Befriending the Foxes was inadvisable. Kissing one is unthinkable. Neil should know better than to get involved with anyone this close to the end, but Andrew's never been the easiest person to walk away from. If they both say it doesn't mean anything, maybe Neil won't regret losing it, but the one person Neil can't lie to is himself.

Historia
The revelations about Raider's past have turned Seth's simple manhunt into a complicated mess. He's stepped into a tangled web of arcane mysteries and political machinations. As an experienced Curator for the Arcanum College, he can handle that. What he can't quite handle is his feelings for Raider. There's love—gods, he can't deny that—but Raider's lies have made a mess of Seth's heart, his principles—and everything else. Because Raider himself is at the very center of this tangled web.

A unique premise and world building. Very worth your time. Great characters that owned their flaws and appeared more real because of them.

The best series I’ve listened to in years and I listen to several every week. The story is gripping and I couldn’t push pause. Narration was perfect! You should spend your first three credits on this series!

Revisado: 11-10-24
This series is so much better than second place that it really should be its own genre. In my review of book one, the only thing I I didn’t mention was the incredible narration. All of my words to try and explain why it’s the best still apply to book two. Can’t wait for book three in….five , four, threee , two… (you get the picture

One of the best!
Revisado: 11-08-24
Of my 1000’s deep library, this one stands out. It has a LBGTQ story basis among the characters, and it is a great story, but the characterization, plot, pace, everything, was excellent! One of the best ‘who-dunnits” I’ve ever listened to/read, regardless of genre. Thanks Mr,(?) Maclean for an excellent read! Already downloaded book 2! I listen almost non-stop during most of the day and can hardly remember them a week later, but I’m actually excited to start book two! I never leave written reviews, so sorry if it’s too ‘fan-boy” sounding!

Historia
Robert Westfall's life is falling apart - everywhere but in math class. That's the one place where problems always have a solution. But in the world beyond high school, his father is terminally ill, his mother is squabbling with his interfering aunts, his boyfriend is unsupportive, and the career path that's been planned for him feels less appealing by the day. Robert's math teacher, Andrew McNelin, watches his best student floundering, concerned but wary of crossing the line between professional and personal. Gradually, Andrew becomes Robert's friend, then his confidante.

The complicated relationships with believable twists and turns. Very relatable characters with fantastic development. Very good narration. I listen to about 4-5 books per week and have thousands I’ve read in my library. This was one of my favorites. You will not regret this buy and you’ll agree with me that we need to support this author so we can enjoy more of their storytelling.

Historia
I thought I was going to be a successful sports star, maybe a famous veterinarian, or maybe I'd open up another sanctuary, following in my moms' footsteps. None of that happened. Life's light seemed to turn off for me, and I was having a really hard time turning the spark back on. Then, on my twenty-fourth birthday, in comes the one surprise I wanted most and liked the least: Rex freaking Madison. My older brother's best friend, my first crush, my first time. And my absolute worst nightmare. Somewhere, deep down under the cobwebs in my chest, a spark lit.

College is weird. One second you're studying for a huge exam in integrated physics and the next you're secretly drooling over the sexy rugby player living in the dorm next door. The second after that, you're sharing a bed with that same Insta-famous jock, staring up at the ceiling and wondering what in gay heaven caused such a miraculous and terrifying thing. Maybe inviting him to stay at my family's house for the summer wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had?
