Liked the ideas behind the book and that it was shared in a story. the narration however could have been a little better.

Very entertaining despite the tragic satirical story.
Narration was excellent! It's amazing how the narrator can come up with so many different accents.

A must read / listen to Classic that comes to life with the beautiful narration of Linda Stephens. I learned a lot about the American Civil War history from this book as well. Well worth your time.

I don't know why the authors felt the need to write this final trilogy, I can only presume that with the release of the new Dune movie, they wanted to profit from the renewed excitement about the story. Their previous prequel work was already not as good as the original Frank Herbert novels, but they were at least entertaining. In this last trilogy, the authors are scrambling for material and have come up with made up back stories bordering on the ridiculous, writing apparently for an audience of preteens. the made up backstories of the beloved Dune characters are so far fetched that it's hard to believe they are related to the same original novels. I listened to this final trilogy because I'm a huge fan of the Dunivers, But in hindsight, I could have totally skipped this last trilogy and not missed much. Again, total waste of time.
