Amazing Woman Amazing Advice

I loved this book! I am the same age as Brooke Shields. I grew up idolizing her, being envious of her, wishing I could be her and comparing myself to her. But I am just an ordinary woman going through life. I identify with some of story, and so much of what she has gone through. I found myself crying at times and at times saying “hell yes!” I recommend this book to ALL women in our culture. This is a book that NEEDED to be written. And indeed needs to be listened to in her own voice. I will be sharing it with my three daughters and everyone I know. Thank you!!

I really liked this story. Liked the characters the setting the narrators, everything! I only have one complaint. Most times mentioned tea drinking as their typical drink, but then mentioned coffee in a carafe that was never mentioned before. And then the kettle was on, but got a “cup of Joe.” That doesn’t work. As tea or coffee are specific to people, this seemed like an oversite on author’s part.
As a reader this bothered me with the change mid-story.

Honestly I couldn’t get past and hour of listening

I couldn’t get past the awful narration. I didn’t think it was going to get any better with the story line. I’d the author had read it perhaps it would have been much better. I think actually reading it might be a much better option than listening.
