Never Change the Narrator

Changing the Narrator halfway through a series is like changing actors in a movie series, it doesn’t work. Nothing for or against either narrator. Either one from the beginning would have been fine. It’s just that when the cadence and character patterns are set through three previous books and then changed in a fourth it’s like starting a series in the middle, nothing makes sense. The characters you knew in the previous books no longer exist.
Not sure I’ll finish this book and certainly will not continue the series if I can’t get through this one.
Not sure why the author would do this but it was a bad decision.

Characters too inept to survive!

While the story line itself is fine, the characters created are seemingly incapable of learning from past mistakes and continue to make one inept decision after another.
At some point Darwin wins out and by the end of the second book in the series it becomes a clear these characters could have been pulled from a bad 80s horror flick where they continually make predictably bad choices and yet miraculously still survive.
I really can’t see finishing the series at this point as I see no redeemable way anyone survives another day much less three more books.
Like watching a train wreck!

Story beginning to run on

I have been a fan if the series and the author but this one is weak.
Audio performance was bad which made a weak story even worse.
