An excruciating listen.

The narration was so intense it was painful. The main character is a melodramatic, whiny, stupid, alcoholic/drug addict. You’re supposed to understand this because has agoraphobia. Nothing like giving those people actually living with dignity with agoraphobia. Plus the weather is in everything. She must have had 1000 adjectives amplifying the rain. It doesn’t rain every other day except in this book. Don’t waste your credit. Not worth it.

Fabulous series. I work hard and am in a period of just wanting to be entertained by audible. The supernatural is a little bit like Charmed and a little annoying, but I’ve enjoyed getting to know Millie and the rest of the characters. It’s implied at the end that there will be a 6th book. I hope so. I have to move on now, but I’ll be checking for another installment.

Nothing New, Still Unsettling

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to be a fly on the wall in the White House. Is it 100% accurate? I'm sure it isn't but what Michael Wolff describes in the book aligns with the past 12 months, much more than Trump's tweets, or the sycophants spin on Trump's behaviors.
What other book might you compare Fire and Fury to and why?
Some of the books on Nixon.

All the scenes describing the dysfunctional dynamics in the Trump WH.
If you could give Fire and Fury a new subtitle, what would it be?
No new title it's perfect.

I hope Wolff writes a sequel after Mueller's actions coming up probably in 2018.

Would you try another book from The Great Courses and/or Professor Scott M Lacey, PhD?
I have a degree in Anthropology and I thought a course with this title would take us through the wonderful world of Anthropology NOT this guy's work experience. Worst great course ever. Tell me I'm going to have to deal with hours of tedious boredom over seeds and farming and give me a choice whether to waste my time. I'm going to go get my credit back. DONT WASTE YOUR CREDIT ON THIS UNLESS YOUR A FARMER ABD INTERESTED IN HIS FARMING METHODS.
Has Anthropology and the Study of Humanity turned you off from other books in this genre?
I have a degree in Anthropology. This is the worst lecture series I've ever heard/attended.
What didn’t you like about Professor Scott M Lacey, PhD’s performance?
I am bored by his seeds, his farming, and his farmers.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
I feel tricked.

Pull this terrible Great Book. Let this guy package his farming techniques in some other book.

His research was impeccable. Questions I've had about some of the new religions dominating the American landscape were answered. There are extremists in all three of the Abrahamic religions try to bring on Armageddon and the rapture. These people are increasingly dangerous as they gain power in the government arena. Their goals are religious and their premise as Bagient so brilliantly deconstructs is wrong. This would all be about more groups waiting for their religious truths to light up the skies except for TGEIR infiltration into the highest levels of government. I hope our Constitution can hold these theocrats at bay.
