Historia
Hardly a day goes by when nine-year-old Laurent Lepage doesn't cry wolf. From alien invasions to walking trees to winged beasts in the woods to dinosaurs spotted in the village of Three Pines, his tales are so extraordinary no one can possibly believe him. Including Armand and Reine-Marie Gamache, who now live in the little Quebec village.

The. Book was as good as I expected. I am a huge fan of Louise Penny's work and this did not disappoint.
Her characters are so well developed and the murderer is a mystery to the end.
Hope she is working on her next book!

Review of book

Having been raised in the Episcopal church I was very interested in how the Anglican Church differs in worship and theology. It was a very helpful explanation.

For almost 70 years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident - and may very well have been an act of assassination. A good lesson in history
Revisado: 04-28-15
I learned a great deal of history about WWII. It is always good to have true facts pertaining to historical events and OReilly did that. Easy to listen to and the follow up about the lives of the participants was really fascinating . Good listen.
I would recommend the book to anyone interested in history.

Historia
Marie-Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is 12, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.

Revisado: 04-20-15
The book was suggested for our book club and I found it at times hard to endure the sadness, but in the end it was a beautifully written story and I loved it.

Surprise story
Revisado: 03-05-15
I was surprised that the story was a history of the assassin's life . It was fascinating to watch his life unfold and see the unchosen path it took and yet he maintained compassion for those who shared his fate. Good listen.
