Unacceptable language.

I barely got in to the book when Gods name was paired with damn. That’s unacceptable for me as a Christian. I know that’s the way people talk and sometimes I don’t have any choice but to listen to it. There are plenty of times I have a choice and that’s when I walk away or in this case put a book down refusing to read the offensive material.

A novel worth reading

I don’t understand the negative review that was front and center. I thought it was a good read or listen as it were. The performance was great also. Maybe that negative review was added to this book by mistake.

Holy Moly!!

What a story! I love a book that requires you to pay close attention to what’s going on. Moving back and forth through time in the lives of the characters will keep you on your toes in this story. Just when you think you have it figured out #johnmarrs switches lanes. You’ll be heart broken, angry, confused and then back to heart broken. Really enjoyed this book as well as the performers #simonmattacks and #elizabethknowelden.
My only complaint is the use of God’s name in vain. I know it happens I just don’t see the necessity in using that or any slang or vulgar language. It certainly doesn’t help the story line but it does prevent people from reading/listening to the book.

Not for the Christian!!

This book is sexually explicit and uses God's name in vain. I can't rate the performance or story (other than the necessary 1 star) since I stopped reading early in due to the language and explicit sexual situation. I never read the second book. I don't know if the story goes on past the 2nd book.
I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone and would give a lesser rating if I could.
