Historia
All trails became dead ends. Tips that had at first seemed urgent now faded away. The waiting game began. Whoever had the manuscripts would want money, and a lot of it. They would surface eventually, but where and when, and how much would they want? The most daring and devastating heist in literary history targets a high security vault located deep beneath Princeton University. Valued at $25 million, the five manuscripts of F. Scott Fitzgerald's only novels are amongst the most valuable in the world....

Slow burn

Not up to usual Grisham standard. Highly improbable, very slow going with excessive padding and superfluous detail. The author seems to want to demonstrate a level of research and trivia rather than a story. A short story stretched into a book perhaps.

Enjoyable story but far fetched characters
Revisado: 03-16-23
The story is novel and engaging but the suspension of disbelief is broken by the ridiculousness of the superhuman capabilities of the main protagonist and associates. Giving characters superhero levels of ability to get out of seemingly impossible situations is not clever or entertaining and spoils the narrative.

Thin story padded with large amounts of superfluous material
Revisado: 01-10-17
Weak plot. Entire sections read like a medical text book. I am not sure why a crime thriller needs pages and pages of surgical procedures. It isn't entertaining and doesn't make the author appear smart. If I wanted a medical book I wouldn't have bought a crime thriller.

tedious, tedious, tedious
Revisado: 05-19-15
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
slow going, long pointless dialogue exchanges. A short story padded out into a book
Which scene was your favorite?
the end when I finally got there!
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No way
Any additional comments?
would have been a mildly interesting short story but is a dull book
