Excellent story imho

Looking forward to book 2. Could become my new favorite series if it keeps up the trend. Only critique would be, if the MC is OP, let him be OP. Don’t shackle him.

Decent story. Different from the usual spellsword or rogue or hunter story. My only issue is that the explanation for other humans wanting to potentially PK other humans at lvl 21 is weak and somewhat nonsensical. Technically, other humans have no need to hunt the main character. But, whatever…still decent I guess.

Decent story, Next time forget the phrase “not enough mana”.

Legend of the Arch Magus did it better imho, but this story is decent too. Reincarnated arch mage in a geographic area that has little mana. The story became annoying when the author kept hyping up the main character as an archmagus badass, usually followed by an excuse for why something could not be done due to a lack of mana. Overall, I personally prefer an overpowered MC to one who has to deal with “challenges” all book long, limply rolling along and barely getting by. I’ll give book 2 a chance. More OP MC and less, “not enough mana”.

Decent but a little annoying

I agree with another review that stated that the book seemed to focus too much on the MC’s wife’s revenge plot instead of the MC themself growing stronger. The MC has the potential to be completely OP but is written to behave like a child at times. This is especially noticeable to me after the imperial prince is introduced into the story. Lastly, I took off 2-3 stars because the MC threw away $100000000 (being a child) which for some reason vexed me greatly. With all that said, I still kind of have hope for this story and may be willing to give book 2 a chance when it comes out. I just hope the MC embraces his abilities and actually looks to grow stronger moving forward . Embrace the OPness. Less childish impulsive behavior.

Also,…I hate…Hate…HATE…when authors write weakness into their main characters. I understand characters having challenges but if I jad a choice I’d rather the MC be OP and not get their teeth kicked in at all in the story.

The MC is too dumb. I cannot continue as I hate dumb, weak, bumbling and stumbling main characters.

Looks like I found another decent story to follow. Didn’t like the main character asking dumb questions all the time but overall a great story. I’ll be on the lookout for book two.

No further words. I enjoyed the series from beginning to end and hope to see more books of the sort in the future.

Looking forward to book 11. This is one of the few great authors that keeps producing great content on a consistent basis without taking huge breaks. (Looking at you Aleron Kong-Where is the next book in the Land series?!)
