Historia
For thousands of years, there has been a cycle: a Demon King rises and conquers, and a Hero is reborn a hundred years later to defeat him. Each time, civilizations are ground to dust beneath the Demon King's hordes, but humanity has remained secure in the belief that a Hero of legend will always save them. There's just one slight problem. It's only been 23 years since the Demon King's latest rise, and this time, he's already conquered more than half the world. If humanity simply waits for the Hero's return, there may be no world left for him to save.

I think I will keep it

I actually found the book to be funny at times. I will also admit that some parts are predictable as you listen. A simple and clean (no curse words or sexual scenes) listen.

Historia
Seraph Black has endured a vicious stalker, a change of schools, a bonding, a triple-murder, and more than her fair share of uncomfortable situations - but it seems like the world isn't done with her yet. The messenger is back with a systematic vengeance that knocks her flat, and not even her self-proclaimed secret-keepers are prepared for how far he is willing to go to get what he wants. She is walking on eggshells, trying to keep everyone at a distance. Especially those that are closest to her.

Torin St. James can claim me anytime!! lol.
Revisado: 05-22-17
The narrator did a good job to me. The story definitely has that teen "feel" to it. But the story seems interesting enough for me to buy the second book and see what happens next. If you are interested in the romance aspect of the book, I'm here to tell you there is definitely a love triangle. The protagonist must choose between her childhood friend and the dark and mysterious...Torin St. James (definitely a hottie if you like the dark and mysterious type). He's also very bold, confident or maybe more so cocky? Although the protagonist wrestles with her feelings towards these two guys, she throughout most of the story has already made her choice, inwardly. Near the end there is a hint that the love triangle might turn into a square? And just when Raine figures out her choice between the two guys, the story ends with a twist. Ha! No one said that love was going to be that easy.

Historia
Seraph Black used to think that she was prepared for anything. She could last days without eating and she always walked away from the violent altercations with her father relatively unharmed. She survived working at the club and the drive to school every day in her mother's rust-bucket of a car...but it all changed when Noah and Cabe came bulldozing into her life, careless of the precious secrets they picked apart in their quest to take over her world. She was even less prepared for the mysterious Miro and Silas, and nothing could have prepared her for the bond. The connection.

"Reverse Harem!" About Dang time!
Revisado: 05-09-17
Four guys that try to keep her at a distance, control their affections for her, and are overprotective...I'm definitely in! *swoon* There are four different personalities, that means four different males to choose from lady readers. *Wink*😉
Overall, I like where the story is heading. The trials of this complicated Love Pentagon? Are interesting. Not only that, but the secrets and truth the guys try to keep from the main character...and the stalker? Who is he!!!
I'm glad I finally took this book out of my wish list. I don't know if I can wait for the next audiobook, I might have to buy the actual books because I'm impatient and I need to know. Now.

Historia
The most important rule for an Apprentice Consul is simple: Don't get involved with daemons. Well, Piper is planning to break that rule - big time. After a near-deadly scandal with the Sahar Stone, she has the chance to return to the only life she's ever wanted. All she has to do to keep her Apprenticeship is forget about Ash and Lyre. Ash might be enigmatic and notoriously lethal, and Lyre might be as sinfully irresistible as he is irritating, but they're not bad for a couple of daemons.

The Book left me curious about the characters??
Revisado: 03-24-17
I'm interested more so in questions left unanswered about the characters. Some people don't like the narrator, but it depends on your taste. I didn't mind her voice. O guess people wanted her voice to be perfectly clear not sound like she was congested or something (and I mean no offense. This is coming from a person's voice who is so naturally raspy that people think she is sick all the time). Anyways, the story did start gwtting good at the end after the build up. I'm ready for the next book.

Historia
At some point, every one of us embarks on a journey to find love. We meet people, date, get into and out of relationships, all with the hope of finding someone with whom we share a deep connection. This seems standard now, but it’s wildly different from what people did even just decades ago. Single people today have more romantic options than at any point in human history. With technology, our abilities to connect with and sort through these options are staggering. So why are so many people frustrated?

I admit, at first it took me a while to get use to the narrator and I noticed that he changed the pronounciation of one of the characters in this second book. However, those things that had bothered me became insignificant as the story went on. I like the suspense that was built-up and the new problem that arises at the end. So now I have to actually buy the book in order to finish the series (Yes, there is no audiobook for the the last book. Trust me I searched). I think the hard copy will be worth the conclusion.
