Historia
Examining murder from an insider’s perspective, Matt Murphy—a former senior deputy district attorney and current ABC News legal analyst—discusses cases from his career, how they strained his personal life, and how he found peace seeking justice for victims and their families. Part taxonomy of murder, part prosecutor’s handbook, and part personal memoir, The Book of Murder goes through a dozen cases and his recollections of his 26 years in the Orange County DA’s office (17 in the Homicide Unit).

A small, quiet town in Missouri. A devoted mother caring for her chronically ill daughter. A story of love, sacrifice, and survival. Or so it seemed. But behind closed doors, beneath the layers of sympathy and kindness, there was a dark secret waiting to be uncovered. For nearly two decades Dee Dee Blanchard told the world that her daughter, Gypsy Rose, was dying. Leukemia, muscular dystrophy, seizures, vision and hearing issues, the list of illnesses and medical concerns was endless. Gypsy, a seemingly happy little girl with a huge smile, was bound to a wheelchair, fed through a tube, and ...

It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Not Sure what I think?
Revisado: 03-05-23
Harrys voice was very soothing throughout the entire presentation. The story is your typical story of a boy growing up in a privileged life in the UK. It could’ve been any Royal or any boy of privilege. He speaks often about his father and his brother, in terms of somehow they’re different than all of us with fathers and Brothers; fights are very typical of boys that close in age. What this book did give me was a sense of Charles as a father. I was actually more impressed after reading this book that Charles really is a good father and loves his children very very much. I never really thought that about Charles before this book. Typical step mother angst against Camilla.
Honestly, the bottom line is I feel he’s your typical “middle child”- even though he’s not a middle child. (I’m unloved, I’m looked over, I’m not as special, etc.) its a bit petty at times. Basically, he’s a lonely person, and he was grieving without a therapist - and he clearly needed one.
As, for his relationship with Meghan- it seems like total love but NOBODY is that blameless…c’mon seriously? But she apparently is the person directing everything he does. Harry is weak snd very immature- I feel bad for him but I’m happy, in the knowledge, that he has no idea how ridiculous he is- its sad!
