THE HATING GAME is the most fun I have had with audible in quite some time. You will fall in love with her characters and her scenes are so vivid that I had a movie reel of it running through my mind the entire time. This is a fresh take on a relatively predictable plot, although with that being said, Sally Thorne has managed to make it her own. I have no doubt that you will receive almost 12 hours of enjoyment. My only regret is that this is her only book with audible at this time. Get busy Sally, because I want more...Please!

Wow! "Lord of Scoundrels" by Loretta Chase and Narrated by Kate Reading has moved up to my top 5 book favs of all time. This Novel is brilliantly written and brought to life in a mesmerizing, and captivating way. The characters are well developed and the leading lady is smart! I loved this book and highly recommend it as credit worthy!!

Disappointing second to The Clan MacDougall Series

Ok. so I loved the first installment of The Clan MacDougall Series, and although I finished this second in the series, wanting to know how it would end...I didn't like it. I was so disappointed. I hated the narrator, Brad Wills. He sounds like he is yelling the whole time, and his voices for the women is very unappealing. So sorry to give this negative review, especially when the review I gave for Book 1 was so good. This goes to show the importance of choosing the right narrator. Had she chosen Erin Jones, (Narrator of Book 1), perhaps this review would have been different. Unfortunately, Brad Wills narrates the rest of the series, which means that I will not be purchasing.
Credit worthy? NO!

I Loved Laiden't Daughter: Clan MacDougall, Book 1, by Susan Tisdale and narrated by Erin Jones. So sweet and tender. The characters were ones that I will remember for a long time, as they were brought to life by the talented narrator, Erin Jones.
This book really illustrated to me the value of a good narrator.

A Gentle Rain by Deborah Smith was my first of her books to read, and what an amazing gift it was. I bought this book on sale, and it will not be the last of Ms. Smith's books that I treat myself to. I loved it. Precious characters that were developed well, very nice plot that came back to itself nicely. Smart. Fun. Lovely.

This is what we want when we buy a book like this. Are there lessons to learn...probably not...morals to the story...no...but if you want to be entertained...this is going to fit the bill.

O.K. It is Nicholas Sparks...he is an amazing story teller. I gave the story 5 stars, which, in terms of story telling, it deserves. The Best of Me is quality writing, with outstanding character development, and storyline...but, I have to ask myself...did I come away with anything? The answer is an absolute "no", unless feeling depressed is something to brag about. On the one hand, I love the way he describes the characters and situations, although the ending was very predictable. Sean Prat has a great voice and does an amazing job of narration.
Nicholas Sparks will not be on my short list of books to purchase anymore...
Don't waste your credit - unless you are in the mood to feel basically hopeless...
