kind of Corny with how the author makes the teens sound more of preteens and younger, not really a fan.

Historia
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

The theme
Revisado: 09-10-24
honestly tried to give it a listen but this story is soo boring I found myself zoning out with the bland characters and everyone sounding the same.
Also The repetitive item identification gets old quick and the characters sound all the same. lame

crackheads
Revisado: 08-27-24
so the story kinda just rambles a little bit with none of the kids really being affected by their mother.
the sound quality of the person reading for Autumn was bad. also The brother Hunter describes her having a Texas draw in which is never presented. Real let down

Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

awkwardness
Revisado: 03-22-24
The narrator does well for the most part other than some bits sound like it was edited in later after production.
the story is written in a manor that makes you wounder which in my opinion is a great way to have your attention
The only thing that make I have to complain is the 2 chapters of the sex scene is down right awkward and need to end quickly. Good god I thought it would never had ended. I get it's supposed to be the climax to the relationship, but come on 2 chapters of well detailed sex scenes was overrated.

well now
Revisado: 11-30-21
I first wanna say mark tufo has an amazing way of telling story in first person perspective, that's no easy task. This being the final book was kinda of a let down. I felt the the narrative was rushed to close plots and some not closed at all. I'm sure he had his reasons . maybe one more to fix it and end all be all but definitely not this.
