depth of story and growth of characters
Revisado: 04-25-25
this is the second in a series post-apocalyptic stories really good very deep every character clearly fleshed out yes you could tell that good guys and bad guys for clear and separate but the twists unexpected turns and depth and growth that these kids went through kept you wanting to know what happened next. a really good story that makes me ready for the next one in the series

Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

Jill's strength, love and faith
Revisado: 09-12-24
I honestly Loved this story I have been a fan of the duggars in the past but not a huge fan and I too felt the sting of betrayal when everything went down with Josh. Jill's story is one of strength, resilience, growth, so much love, forgiveness, and the ability to learn how to be her own person in her own adult family. It is beautiful

Eye opening and heartfelt
Revisado: 03-23-23
From someone who has never even tried to grasp what a transgender person goes through, I have blindly lived my privileged life siting the old “live and let live” mentality as an excuse for my ignorance. Parker’s story opened the eyes of this gen-x, cis-gendered woman. For a proud non-cryer, I tested up when she came out to her parents and my heart breaks still over public response. Thank you Parker, for sharing your story and educating more of us!
