Solid concept and ideas, just stop shoveling pop culture references every padge. It's fine if he's thinking it, but doing it in dialogue 5 times a chapter is so fourth wall breaking it's crippling. The gag where he gets the reference but nobody else does, then attempts to explain the joke when nobody got it the last 20 times is getting REALLY old. Please please stop it, I only wrote this because I like the story. I get it if you like it and think it's a running joke, but just switch it up sometimes, maybe THEY have references HE doesn't get, that would be nice. ANYTHING BUT THE SAME JOKE OVER AND OVER AGAIN PLEASE.

Same thing again, but that's the point

Pros: more action and protagonist glazing
Cons: not too much innovation over the last, pop culture references every chapter.
overall: satisfied, but not getting the third. there's a lot of words dedicated to the non spicy action, but the non spicy action is extremely simple, borderline elementary, and doesn't add to the overall saucy bits, which is why I'm here. the story only lives up to it's namesake 30 percent of the time, maybe bump that up to forty or at least half, throw in some teasing or foreplay to keep us guessing. With that said, the saucy bits are nice.
my main gripe: don't promise us demons and give us Jurassic park.

A satisfying read. Delivers exactly what is promised. Narrator does a wonderful job, especially since she's having to do a male voice for the majority of the story. All around quality.

Slow and confusing

I was done after the two dream/flashback chapters. Please do not make readers sit through an hour long dream that constantly meanders through things that don't have consequences and don't push the story. You got space marines on the cover, write a space marine book. Dull, confusing, and overwritten.
