Historia
The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. In spite of its battlefield specificity, The Art of War has found new life in the modern age, with leaders in fields as wide and far-reaching as world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words.

Finally… After A Lifetime.
Revisado: 11-06-24
So? The Art of War… A book we have all heard about in one way or another for as long as we can remember. I’m 45. And I finally dove in. Let me tell you? I was continually impressed with these writings. If you are of a military mind. Have put security and defense at the top of you or your families priorities? Then? Let me introduce you to your Bible. These are writings, tactics, and stratagem still studied and used thousands of years later to this very day, By every military commander in the world worth his salt. And, who has been in a position to have heard of these writings. (There are some great commanders who come from places remote, isolated, and sparse. That is why the distinction. I don’t want to take from them.)
The book on Audible is bite sized. The narrator is actually awesome. I meant to look up his photo. He sounds like an actor th…. It just hit me! He sounds exactly like the crazy German drug dealer guy from SLC Punk! Damn… Now I have to know. Standby…. Nope! That would be Til Schweiger. Also? I’m realizing that’s not even who he really sounds like. I just looked him up! That’s why he’s so damn familiar sounding! It was driving me nuts! I kept seeing faces close to who he actually is? But couldn’t get it to come into focus. Finally looked him up. It’s Little Finger! From Game of Thrones! That was driving me nuts. I really wanted to guess it. Haha. Anyway? He dies a great job with this book. Frankly? He has an amazing tone and cadence that is clearly well suited to performing audio books. I hope he does more. I really did greatly enjoy hearing the narrator even as I was listening to this book.
If you are not of a military mind? There is still plenty you can learn from this bite sized audiobook. There are many lessons which can translate into good decisions if studied and truly understood. Not only regarding warfare? But, business, and life in general. I know I will.
Let me end with the promise. The promise that I will listen to this book again. And then? Again after that I am sure. This is a book of lessons. And sometimes? Lessons need to repeated in peace. So, that we do not have to learn them during war. Literal or otherwise. I understood that I would be listening to this book more than once even as I was in the middle of it as well. And, was excited at the prospect of doing so. I don’t know how else to explain it? I’ll simply say, this book is still read and so widely known and praised for good reason. And to the youngster out there at 16? 19? 20? However old you may be? READ THIS BOOK or listen to it. And do it now. And throughout your life do it often. I assure you that you shall gain new insight from it everytime you do so. Don’t wait to hear these words at 45? When you could begin at 18. Just know? Whatever your age may be today? It’s the perfect age for YOU to get this book. And, Aiden’s reading of, “The Art of War” on Audible? Is just about all you could hope fore as you are introduced to Sun Tzu, and life lessons that have survived for centuries. GET THIS BOOK. NOW!

A Shot In the Dark
Revisado: 10-07-17
I bought this book based on the synopsis alone and maybe one or two quick glances at reviews. I wasn’t even sure who Bruce was, but had a vague idea. I was pretty sure he was that guy from that movie that had a chainsaw for an arm that my brother would watch growing up. And admittedly, I had fond memories of watching “that movie” (Knowing more now, I’m pretty sure it was Evil Dead 2) growing up as well. After finishing this book, I have become a now won over.... Er.... Client? Of Bruce’s. It was a great read, with genuine and funny stories throughout. If nothing else, this book is definitely entertaining. And really, what more can you ask of an entertainer than to be entertained? Am I right?! But, it is much more than just entertaining. It is sincere, insightful, and probably most importantly, it is fun! As I said, I basically bought this book just because.... But, I’m glad I did. I learned some cool new stuff, laughed along the way, and got to kind of know a “groovy dude” along the way. I definitely recommend this book. Thanks for sharing your journey with us Bruce. And best of luck to you in the rest of your days.
Your new client in grooviness,

Interesting, but not incredible.
Revisado: 07-16-17
I'm always up for learning something new. This was a fun read. Don't expect much in the way of guns blazing. This is absolutely more of a R & D book than a combat book. I understand that is what it claims to be. I guess I just expected something different. And, while the performer was not bad, it just seemed as though she were a poor choice for this particular book. Don't get me wrong. She is good. It just seemed that given the content on occasion, she came across a bit too chipper. Again, Ivan see how she would be an amazing narrator for other books. Just didn't seem to fit with this one. Overall, I would say the book was good, content was interesting, and narration was fine. Just nothing I would eagerly recommend without being prompted as with a lot of other books in my library. I do not regret purchasing it though if that says anything?

The things these operators do is mind blowing. This book truly gives you a glimpse inside Delta and will have saying, Holy s***...." to yourself on many occasions. I highly recommend this for any individual thinking of trying to join special forces. And, to any American who needs a reality check. Delta is no joke. And neither is Eric Haney and his brothers. Very well written. BUY THIS BOOK.

Crazy...
Revisado: 05-06-16
The basically confesses. I think he did it. But, having said that, I also tend to have a very different view of the entire thing. If this had been ten years ago I would have said most of it is bs. But, I believe a good portion of what he is saying having lived through something very similar. Don't get me wrong, the man's a killer. But, you have to take both sides into account in circumstances such as these if you SINCERELY seek the truth. Even when it means hearing things you wish you hadn't... I would lime to say thank you to the Goldman Family for releasing this book. My heart goes out to you. Father to father, son, and sibling. I hope you have managed to find some peace in the years since. Be it no replacement for a son taken. Keep fighting the good fight. People do think about, and support you and your efforts even now. And to the Browns, my condolences. I hope your pain has diminished over the years. Peace to all of you....

If you are bored and unfulfilled by dry and overly worthy self-help manuals, then this is the audiobook for you! Listen to this and take a very different look at yourself! Former SAS hero Andy McNab and eminent psychologist Professor Kevin Dutton are unlikely partners. As Oxford academic and bestselling author of The Wisdom of Psychopaths, Kevin Dutton has plenty of experience of psychopaths, but he'd never met anyone quite like Andy McNab, decorated war hero and special forces warrior.

Cheers To The Misfits!

A great read for all of those who feel like they just don't fall into the normal scheme of things. Those who are truly capable of acknowledging they need to grow in certain areas of their lives will get a lot out of this book. The way it is read keeps the flow of the book, upbeat, light hearted and fun. All while maintaining the integrity of a self-help book. I learned some great tricks, and had a laugh all at the same time. Cheers guys! (And I'm a Yank! See what you two have me doing by the end of this book?! Ha!)

This Is How The World Really Works.
Revisado: 03-02-14
Where does The True Story of the Bilderberg Group rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is the favorite book that I have listened to by far in my library. I am now listening to it again as my boss and roommate loves it as well. He is self made and extremely successful. He is very intrigued by this book and what it has to tell about The Bilderberg Group.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Daniel Estulin. Daniel is a bad ass who is not afraid to take a stand against tyranny and look danger square in the eye. This man is doing the world a great service. He is a true life hero who deserves the respect of billions. And the fear of the few....
Have you listened to any of Peter Ganim’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, I have not. But, he did a great job with this book. He really just hit the right tones at the right times. Took you into this shadowy world of Cloak and Dagger type living. You could feel the danger at times.
If you could give The True Story of the Bilderberg Group a new subtitle, what would it be?
Behind the Curtain: How The World Really Works
Any additional comments?
I truly mean it when I say I wish everyone would buy this book. More people need to understand that this threat really is out there. And that people who can see it and are brave enough to speak up are not crazy conspiracy theorists. This will start to open the door for you. This will start to connect the dots. If you don't know who the Biderbergers are, you need to. So? Which will it be? The red pill, or the blue???
