So simple. . .
Revisado: 12-26-24
A very simple concept yet I’ve never chosen one word in this way. I’m super excited to get steel, listen to God’s small voice and hear my word for 2025! Thank you so much for the simple yet powerful concept. I cannot wait to report back on how my year has gone… and to share this simple concept with my daughter and also my accountability partners!

It’s 2006. After a string of rejections from men who tell her they could never, ever, ever see her “that way,” awkward third-grade teacher Micaela Blei signs up for a mysterious course called “The Divine Feminine,” and feels like she might have found the key to the perfect life. Turns out if you’re an A student, you can get an A in anything–including men. Pretty soon she’s learning to "conjure" her desires with vision boards, flirtations, and even a daring jumbotron viewing party for her, ahem ... "divine center."

Historia
“Coaches rely far too much on asking open-ended questions,” says Marcia Reynolds. But questions only seek answers — inquiry provides insight. When, instead of just questions, clients hear their thoughts, opinions, and beliefs spoken by someone else, it prompts them to critically consider how their thinking affects their goals. Reynolds cites the latest brain science to show why reflective inquiry works and provides techniques, tips, and structures for creating breakthrough conversations.

Learning to apply 2-3 of these techniques will improve your coaching practice. I’ve benefited by making sure I coach the person and not the problem. It usually allows even deeper thought and revelation from the client.

The audible version of this was awesome. I’m glad I heard all of the people’s voices and stories and this was well put together. The storyline was great and easy to follow. Even the sad stuff made you look at life and things differently. I loved all of this!

A great analogous for how life with your growing child will go!
Revisado: 08-13-24
When I first stumbled upon this book I didn’t think I’d like it. Turns out I loved it. I have a growing child who wants me around BUT I’ve already stated to notice some distance and her being her true self blossoming. It’s bitter sweet for sure. And now I understand what my own mother went through with me and my siblings. Thank you for this!! 😋

Love the cover and how it’s written
Revisado: 12-21-23
I love books where I’ve learned something that I can apply or take to my clients and help them take action on. This book is filled with plenty to learn and apply. I especially loved learning that there are multiple types of imposters, the science connections and the info in between.
If I had to critique it, it would be the gentleman reading the book was monotone the majority of the book so I found myself zoning out and having to relisten to parts of this book.

A must read for an empath, highly sensitive person or anyone trying to understand one
Revisado: 11-09-23
I love the way this book was written. I am not an empath or hsp but now I have better understanding of who they are as black women and how to relate to them. I loved all the definitions to the many types of empaths and the ways they can heal after trauma. The stories are impactful and I often would think how can I support my empathic clients and friends.
This book is so rich with thoughtful information. I especially loved the background given about Africa and the list of celebs that are empathic. Who knew?!?!
Pick up your copy and gift one to an empathic person who’s struggling to understand who she is.

Revisado: 11-01-23
Kerry goes deep into he life’ story. The good, the bad and the ugly. Our intuition always tells us when something is amiss. Even when we can’t put a finger on things WE know deep inside something is off.
Super happy the revelation came to last while her parents are still alive and this huge news wasn’t taken to their grave.
An awesome read.
