I absolutely HATED Ariel... HATED

It's amazing how you can hate a character sooo much for so many series of books and then cry over her in another! This might be the best book yet! Love it and love the narration...which makes the book an epic movie.

Good Story, ok Narrator

I enjoyed the story though the feelings between the hero and heroine was simply a pulling with not much depth behind it. I never got the absolute dread feeling when something bad happened, telling me that I didn't connect enough with the main characters to be very upset when something happened. The events had little dramatics and not enough comic relief.

I am sure I could not narrate better than Mr. Bradbury but I found that compared to other narrators, I was just waiting for the book to be over so I could pick a book with another narrator. I found the long pauses annoying. The hero seemed to have a never ending angry voice where some of the thing he said, I thought, shouldn't have been said with so much anger or annoyance. I also feel that typically a woman, in general, has more range to handle a woman's voice and man's voice quite nicely.

Jackson and Marissa.....avoidance, acknowledgement, acceptance and power. Typical paranoral theme. These two were so annoying to "watch" but, for me, probably the most rewarding pairing.....The whole love of the ages thing is absolutely marvelous....the foursome thing is quite interesting too... ;)

So glad I hung in with this one....

So, I actually stopped and started this book about three times. It was so slow to start...and a bit confusing for me to follow while doing other things. The herone name, to me was such a strange name too....

I had to actually sit and listen to understand what was going on. Jacqueline did a wonderful job of laying the foundation of this series with this book 1 and though just a bit slower than the other 3 that follow, it was well worth it.

I love a REAL internal battle...

A real internal battle is what Leo went through in this book 3 of the Nightwalker series. Not the typical, "my childhood was crappy so it's hard for me to trust" battle but something with real scars that takes a hero and herone stronger than someone you can relate with to get through. Loved this book and great book three of this series.

Great Book 4!

The comedy and drama mix is invaluable in this book 4 of the Nightwalker series. The background of the growning force of nightwalkers stoked my growing anticipation of the finale (or at least book 5). I always hate it when I find a wonderful series (and narrator) and it ends. Jacquelyn Frank, teamed with one of my favorite narrators, Xe Sands is a power house for paranormal romance.

Great follow to Book 1!!

Sarah continues to surprise me with these story lines and sexy heros and heroine! I was pleasantly surprised with the uncommoness of Cole and his view of the Reaper world. Thank goodness Miranda accepts that of him. If you haven't read any of Sarah's books, this is a great one to start, even if it is Book 2.

Love the Jaguar!

The Alpha was nice, the Jaguar is nicer! Great book 2 in the Series. There is a lot to look forward to and Nalini does a great job of planting those seeds that more excitement, more unravelling, more loving is coming. I hope that the Publisher's Summary is hiding some of whats going to happen because I can't wait to find out about Faiths father and the broken sentinal!!

But on to book 3....Brenna and Judd?!?! Oh my gosh, can't wait!

Good book, good narrator.

Interesting story of many species. At first I hated the Psy but later I felt that it wasn't completly their fault. I like the wolves. I am a little partial to wolves after the Shadow Wranglers Series by Sarah McCarty but the cats have a different personality that is starting to grow on me too. This book has a different kind of "action" than I am used to reading. The fighting is more of escaping and fighting on a mental plane than in a brawl but a brawl is bound to break out sometime. The book is imaginative and believable. Can't wait to listen to the next one.
