Mitten in der Nacht geht im Wald bei Ruppertshain ein Wohnwagen in Flammen auf. Aus den Trümmern wird eine Leiche geborgen. Oliver von Bodenstein und Pia Sander ermitteln wegen Brandstiftung - und bald auch wegen Mordes. Kurz darauf wird eine alte Frau in einem Hospiz ermordet. Bodenstein ist erschüttert, er kannte die Frau seit seiner Kindheit. Die Ermittlungen führen Pia und ihn in die Vergangenheit, in den Sommer 1972, als Bodensteins bester Freund spurlos verschwand.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
. but I have a real problem with the reading of Oliver Siebeck. He is taking these loud breaths in the middle of a sentence, which are really distracting and I doubt, that I will listen to much more (half way through Chapter 1)
