Make sure you have enjoyed this whole series so far! It is amazing. Top shelf for sure. This story shows us the growth and emergence of a young sorcerer, gaining his confidence in life, work and love. Overcoming a violent abusive youth and not letting that psychological damage control his life and relationships. Anyhow, lots of adventure.”, sexy times and surprises! BHS is a must read/listen series!!! Can’t wait for the next one!

I have listened to this entire series almost a dozen times. SJ Himes is good at combining action, adventure, paranormal with even a bit of historical thrown in. This is a top shelf auto purchase for sure!

Adventure, grumbly handsome Earls, dark spaces, tricky personal secretaries, family drama, gothic drama, hot sex and happily ever after. All this told with a wonderful accent and one of the best storytellers of the genre! I recommend!

I don't know why I overlooked this series for so long. I an enthralled by C.S. Poe's story crafting, and have consumed her entire blacklist. Glad this series had so many books out already, because they were so good I jumped from one to the other immediately. The Doctor is a bit more sick and twisted than the others, but it's full of fun, fantastical adventure, and a growing romance between MCs. I really want to hear more about the director and the boxer, the supporting characters have enough depth and mystery to warrant their own stories! Let your imagination and your heart soar, read or listen today. I enjoyed this series on audio book, and love Declan's narration. What a way to make furniture refinishing most exciting!

obi has done good work before, but his voices with this story do not fit. I got lost a lot, mixed up characters and couldn't even understand what emotions were being portrayed many times. Unable to follow and gave up after the fifth attempt at listening.

I could savor Poe's rich characters for days!

The unique mystery is a cameo to the starring role of C.S. Poe's characters, their depth, their continuity, their surprising freshness. I have reread/relistened to this series, and especially this book, at least three times in the short time I've owned it. Kale Williams does the characters justice, he never disappoints. He especially handles Evy's character and intonation very well and that is critical to this story. I'm a selfish consuming reader who is waiting with eagerness for the next volume in this series. Poe is an auto buy for me, and this series is a fine jewel in her crown as a queen of mm murder mystery romance. I like the glimpse we see of her other series characters as well! Grab this series, you'll thank me.

Amy Lane can write a story. With layers, brilliant characters, a vibrant time and a place you can almost smell, taste and feel, she pulls you from your reality to her imagined worlds. Yes, there's heat, humor and pain, tears fell, pulse raced, and my heart grew two inches too big, but over all, Sidecar is a heartwarming treasure, a tale of twu wuv. Chris Patton is an excellent narrator, I wish he would do more. I've listened to one amazing series he's narrated, and this is just as well performed. Buy this book. I've owned it for years and always enjoy the relisten. Thank you Amy!

Good mystery, suspense, and turmoil among bad guys and the mcs. So many emotions. I enjoy the fact that in some moments the mcs pass me off and I don't like them. instead my relationship with them builds. There are so many layers to this story. I'm eagerly awaiting the next one! Kale Williams does a great job narrating.
