My initial expectations of this book was that it would be similar to a lot of other nutrition books in the industry saying how great a diet is and how everyone should be on it. However, based on my diverse background with reading tons of health and wellness books, I'm excited that this one had an unbiased view that presented reasons both for and against why this diet could be good for the reader. From giving background examples such as how the lectin-free diet has helped the famous singer Kelly Clarkson to reasons why this diet may not work for certain individuals, this book has it all. I highly recommend this book to provide you a great understanding of what the lectin-free diet is all about. It is a 5 out of 5 for me!

I really appreciate that these books are bundled together! I wasn't sure whoch one to get because I wanted to get them both, but didn't know which one to but first... Excitingly, they are bundled so I can get them both!

These books definitely go well together. From the sweet background stories on the Spartans and how their mindset fueled their success for so many years and how their diet via intermittant fasting was a driving reason for their physical superiority over their opponents in war. This is a great read and highly recommended!

Great book with tons of knowledge bombs! There were several things in this book I am lacking on... being able to defend myself and having an emergency plan being two of them... Also, I really like how the book started. "Imagine you are dead. You have lived your life. Now take what is left and live properly!" Profound stuff!

This book hits the many important areas you would expect in a guide book to these 3 terrific U.S. cities. From the bars, must go places to eat, historic landmarks, one of a kind museums, are galleries, coffee shops, nightclubs, sports teams, tourist stops, and unique atteactions, this guide has it all! Great audiobook. Can't wait to listen to more guides to help me explore the U.S.A!

Great and practical book! From diving deep into the fixed versus growth mindset to laying out the mental roadmap someone needs to achieve success, this book has it all. I really enjoyed the example about the different types of martial arts for self-defense. It was fun to hear about the different styles and origins. Great listen to learn how to toughen up!

Must Listen for Those New to Intermittent Fasting!

This is an outstanding beginner's guide to intermittent fasting from a detailed step-by-step plan on foods to consume and exercises to do while intermittent fasting. This book lays out the best time of day to intermittent fast and the reason for it versus other types of eating styles. Specifically, one of the more common ways to lose weight is to drop your calories and to work out a lot. This book does a great job in providing a real-world example from the hit TV show "The Biggest Loser." Though you'll lose weight and feel better in the short-term, the amount of calories your body uses in a day will permanently drop and once you stop your calorie reduction and exercise program, you'll gain back even more weight than you lost. Lastly, I really found the explanation of the different hormones in losing weight as very informative and something anybody looking to improve their nutritional habits should know. This book is a must own.

One of my biggest initial concerns about minimalism was having to give up everything and just live on 50 items or that I am only allowed to have stuff that I could fit into a backpack. This book is great at helping you realize that there is more than one way to be a minimalist and how you can effectively fit it into your specific lifestyle and situation.

This book gives a considerable amount of advice on most parts of your life from the way you spend your money to the way you spend your time. As an investor/CPA for a large multinational family office and a person who has recently passed the certified financial planner exam, this book lays out very accurate ways to get a hold of your finances and this is a great guide for any person to have.

You can tell that this is a very well read author who knows his stuff and knows how to write to get the message across! In fact, I can't put Ryan's books down. I've listened to two of them in the last four days! This book is great because it provides a ton of real-life and actionable examples on how to be more disciplined as well as explaining the importance of why behind it! The analogies that Ryan uses are spot on to get the message across. I especially enjoyed the comparison of the Spartans to the Athenians and how the Spartans preferred results and efficiencies (function over form) where as the Athenians preferred more ornate housing and finer foods (form over function.) Great book Ryan. I can't wait to listen to the next one.

I have found that many nutritional books on the market only reveal the good about their form of eating. This book gives it to you exactly how it should be! This audiobook reveals the benefits of intermittent fasting, but also the potential things to look out for and how to avoid any potential pitfalls. This book backs up the argument of why you should intermittent fast with the studies and stats for those that like the numbers. Also, it gives real-world Spartan examples for those that prefer stories! My favorite story is how the Spartan men and women used intermittant fasting to give them the competitive battlefield advantage. Think about it, they were a small nation who were able to sustain their way of life for a long time even when needing to battle armies that were 100x bigger.

Lastly, this complete intermittent fasting guide provides many examples of options on how to make intermittent fasting work for your preferences and needs. I highly recommend this book!
