good into to a new author

if I had a dollar for every time the word taurd was used I wouldn't be rich. a female narrator would have been a great bonus. but overall very good listen.

So A.E. is a new author to me. I've heard and read the reviews and when I saw this was available I said why not. I love a good slow burn that keeps me interested but I'm not sure how to describe this. The build up took way too long and then when it got there I was like this should have happened in chapter 12 or something. And maybe this book is a better read than listen... I'm not sure. The narrators are great. They really did deliver. Overall it's a decent listen and because it's a series I will read the the next book. I'm hopeful to see where the next book will take me.

both are the narrators are new to me, and they did good, but it could have been so much better if it was a little more effort. At times, it felt like they were simply reading the story to me instead of acting out the story. An author said there is a difference in writing a book to read and a book written for audio. I didn't fully understand that until this book. I love books by K.C. Mills and this book was great, but it may be a better read.

this is my first book by this author. I only got it because I'm a fan of the narrator. she did a great job! this story was cute and refreshing. the only thing I wish it wrapped up a little better. I felt like it ended, making you want more. or that there should have been an epilog. otherwise, it was a great start to the series.

the author and narrator are new to me. this book was such an easy listen. yes, some of the subjects are typical, but it was written in a beautiful way. I would definitely recommend it, and I will be adding this author to my go-to list.

I think this is my second book by Kimberly, but I'm so glad I ran across this book. Both narrators are new to me as well. Tony did well. The female narrators had her moments, so if you can make it past that the story is amazing.

This is the first time I have listened to /read a book by this author. I was only drawn to it because of Wesleigh. I know she ALWAYS deliver. This book was too cute! Like you could actually believe that this could happen in real life. With the added bonus that the places are actually real in Clover City. I will say it was just a little annoying that there were quite a few epilogs at the end that should have been a continuous chapter to the book. But I thusly enjoyed this book, and I'm looking forward to looking through her catalog to find Jordan and Mike's next story.

I love a good come back story. this story gives just enough but makes you want more. I'm new to AP, and I have to say this is a great start to a new author for me. I'm looking forward to diving into her catalog. I do wish her audible were longer, but hey, you can't have it all. lol 😆

This is an easy listen. There is just enough to hook you, but it makes you want more. I would have loved to hear more of their story or she the relationship grow with Dre's sister or more about Dre's mom. Bit all in all, I loved the story and worth listening to.
