Oh my gosh this one is slow but oh so worth it. Loved the narration. Loved how Auren is changing. Perfect lead into book 3 which is 😘😘😘

New favorite series

Oh how I’ve been looking for something different. Something other than enemies to lovers with hidden abilities and unknown heritage. This is so different and I loved it. The book is slow but necessary to understand what’s coming next. Absolutely loved the narration. On book 3 know which is 😘. But had to come back and review so everyone can read this.

Really good start

So this is a very interesting a kinda different fantasy romance. I think the story dragged a bit in the beginning and there was a minute I thought I might lose interest, but then the story finally kicks in to gear and I couldn’t stop listening. The performance was absolutely phenomenal. I knew exactly who’s voice she was speaking before it was said. I will definitely be back for the next book in the series.

This book is everything!!

This book is absolutely worth the hype. This is epic level, like From blood and ash and Cresent city level. Absolutely loved the characters and the world building. Violet is so strong but real and honest with herself, she was absolutely amazing. Xaden was just everything you want in your book boyfriend. More than anything, I loved the honesty from Violet towards Xaden. Your typical romance has to have a lot of drama, jealousy, and angst. This is so different from anything i've ever read. Violet just puts it out there and there wasn't a ton of stupid drama filler taking up time in the book. It was action and realness and I loved it. Get this book now and read it today. I don't even care that the narrator was sick for the first quarter of the book, she's phenomenal and I wouldn't want any other one reading this. The best book I've read all year!!

I really liked the first book so had to listen to the second one. This one is super slow and absolutely nothing happens until the last few hours. Fallon basically just whines and acts like a spoiled brat for most of this book and it just got super boring to listen to over and over. And she did some really idiotic things that just had me shaking my head. I don't think I can continue the series if she's going to continue to be so dumb and such a brat.

This is one of my favorite romance books ever. I loved it because there's not a ton of game playing or unnecessary filler drama that usually comes with romance books. Valentina was strong and I loved her character and the fact that she just said it like it was, didn't really play around with Lucca. I think what I loved most about this book was the jealousy on the male side for once. Almost all romance books are about how incredibly hot the mmc character is and how all of the women of the universe want him, which creates all kinds of jealousy issues fmc. That's dumb, we don't want to hear about that. We want the fmc to be incredibly hot and all the men want her and therefore the mmc has jealousy issues. That is probably what I loved most about this book. It's just different in a good way.

So good, but not the best

I read this series out of order, so read Lucca and Valentinas story first. I loved their book so much that I couldn't wait to read this one. This one is great too, but I did get really tired of Ravens whining. The entire book was Raven whining about her insecurity then being fine, then back to insecurity, then fine and so on. It got really tiring after a while, but I was dying to know what would happen with her sister so stuck with it. Definitely worth the read but could've been better.

Good first book

This was definitely a good first book but hoping for more from the next. I loved the comedy and banter between Celine and Memnon and really just Celine with anyone. Most of all her inner dialogue was hilarious, and loved her relationship with her familiar too. I kind of just kept waiting for something to happen and it definitely took time to get there. It's really tough to understand Memnons motives in the last few chapters so we'll have to see what happens next. I really love Stella Bloom but the way she dramatically ends each chapter grated on my nerves. Definitely would recommend and will read the next book.
