He sweats the details and works the clues.

Good beginning but implausible ending
Revisado: 05-04-13
I loved the first half but found the second part so implausible. Lee Child really needs to take into account that most people have cellphones. Jeff Harding is a great narrator, but I found this Jack Reacher story disappointing.

Historia
Joseph O'Loughlin appears to have the perfect life: a beautiful wife, a loving daughter, and a successful career as a clinical psychologist. But nothing can be taken for granted. Even the most flawless existence is only one loose thread away from unravelling. All it takes is a murdered girl, a troubled young patient - and the biggest lie of his life.

So slow!
Revisado: 05-04-13
A great performance by the narrator, but oh my gosh, the story was so slow in developing and the author went into so much unnecessary detail, which I found so boring. I gave up! I just couldnt bear listening to half an hour of what the guy was eating for breakfast, or what his wife was wearing...

Historia
Number-one best-seller John Grisham returns with his most suspenseful thriller yet. Given the importance of what they do, and the controversies that often surround them, and the violent people they sometimes confront, it is remarkable that in the history of the USA only four active federal judges have been murdered. Judge Raymond Fawcett just became number five. I did not know Judge Fawcett, but I know who killed him, and why. I am a lawyer, and I am in prison. It's a long story.

Absolutely brilliant
Revisado: 04-13-13
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Had it been a hardcover, I wouldn't have been able to put it down. I highly recommend it - Grisham is a great storyteller. The story is excellent, plenty of twists in the tale. The narration was very good, so overall I'm going to give this 5/5

I was frustrated & disappointed
Revisado: 02-25-13
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Spent the whole story wondering how on earth the story can end in a satisfying way. For me, it didn't.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Ending was so disappointing.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Scott Brick?
I wasn't crazy about the narrator.
Could you see Paranoia being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Yes, I think it would make a good movie - I'd cast Bradley Cooper in the lead role.
