Historia
“Getting down to the core nature of yourself requires you to get beyond all the ways that you’ve defined yourself.” So says Adyashanti in The Most Important Thing, Volume 2 - an invitation to look past the surface of our personal stories to discover the timeless truths within. Across eight hours of intimate talks, Adyashanti encourages you to find the wisdom in discomfort, reconsider the act of meditation, and fully experience your innate connection to the total environment.

I skipped volume 1

This is really amazing stuff. I've studied spirituality for many years, from various traditions. This is one of the few spiritual masters who explains things so well, and never fails to hit all the deep points. I like that he was trained in Zen, which is one of my interests. But he speaks in plain terms, so you don't need to have any spiritual background to understand the profundity of it all. 10/10, as deep as it gets.

Find yourself and tune in: such is the message of Zen. Instant Zen presents the teachings of Foyan, a twelfth-century Chinese Zen master recognized as one of the greatest masters of the Song dynasty Zen renaissance in China. These simple exercises by Foyan lead you to the awakening of insight into the real nature of self and emphasize independence and autonomy, two qualities vital to seeing and acting clearly. Newcomers will find this a useful and sophisticated introduction to authentic inner Zen practices without cultural exoticism or religious cultism.
