What's the value? Turned me off in chapter 1

I've just finished all the parts of Chapter 1. History twisted to make a case for outsourcing, validating it as if it is the same as purchasing a pizza or Thai from a delivery restaurant. Sending money overseas is not the same as trade and purchasing from a small company or even a franchise in your own neighborhood.
So far his only sale is specialization and saving money via the globalized outsourcing. Specialization is a reach, just the cheap savings for those who are comfortable giving their money to foreign communities rather than support their own economy.
Will I still be hiring offshore help, yes. Will I listen to the rest of this junk of a book, no. Still trying to find the bright spot in outsourcing services within the company I work with.

I've enjoyed many Neil Gaiman creations, but this is the first that I've finished and have no intention to move forward, but to start again from the beginning and listen all the way through.
I loved American Gods and Anansi Boys on Audible, Coraline the movie and Make Good Art the speech.
Neil says things that may be unpopular, but that is all the more reason they need must be said.

Daisy deals with well thought temptations and where Phedra leaned in, Daisy holds fast to what she feels is safer. (If you haven't read Kushiel's Dart - do it. it changed my life knowing I wasn't alone.)
I finished this audio book in less than a week and I'm about to get the next book.... I should he sleeping, but a good story usually wins in my world.
