Historia
My name is Rex. I am a good dog. Rex is also seven foot tall at the shoulder, bulletproof, bristling with heavy calibre weaponry and his voice resonates with subsonics especially designed to instil fear. With Dragon, Honey and Bees, he's part of a Multiform Assault Pack operating in the lawless anarchy of Campeche, Mexico. A genetically engineered Bioform, he's a deadly weapon in a dirty war. All he wants to be is a Good Dog. And to do that he must do exactly what Master says and Master says he's got to kill a lot of enemies.

Great drama, great narration, interesting, relevant topics
Revisado: 07-09-23
The narrator does a fantastic job with what is another of Adrian Tchaikovsky’s great dramas. With a canine bioform protagonist, and a number of interesting characters and perspectives, this is a book that also serves up a refreshingly contemporary ethical issue.

Historia
The once-utopian Chasm City - a domed human settlement on an otherwise inhospitable planet---has been overrun by a virus known as the Melding Plague, capable of infecting any body, organic or computerized. Now, with the entire city corrupted - from the people to the very buildings they inhabit---only the most wretched sort of existence remains. The stakes are raised when Tanner Mirabel's search brings him face to face with a centuries-old atrocity that history would rather forget.

Great Character Development, Narration
Revisado: 10-11-18
This book can sort of be viewed as an introduction to the Revelation Space series universe. It is a self-contained novel in it's own rite, and has very interesting action scenes interspersed with a psychological space drama. I highly recommend this book for it's writing, content, and narration.

Historia
2057. Humanity has raised exploiting the solar system to an art form. Bella Lind and the crew of her nuclear-powered ship, the Rockhopper, push ice. They mine comets. And they're good at it. The Rockhopper is nearing the end of its current mission cycle, and everyone is desperate for some much-needed R & R, when startling news arrives from Saturn: Janus, one of Saturn's ice moons, has inexplicably left its natural orbit and is now heading out of the solar system at high speed.

Excellent Sci-Fi

This is a great book that is well thought out, and it examines some very interesting issues regarding space exploration and the vastness of time.

For Azoth, survival is precarious, something you never take for granted. As a guild rat, he's grown up in the slums and learned to judge people quickly---and to take risks. Risks like apprenticing himself to Durzo Blint. But to be accepted, Azoth must turn his back on his old life and embrace a new identity and name.

Good story! Narrator is no Simon Vance.
Revisado: 03-29-18
I liked the story, although I don’t think it’s as well written as the Lightbringer series. The narrator is not very good, in my opinion, but it’s passable if you like Brent Weeks. If you’re new to Brent Weeks and on audible, check out the other series.

A blade fit for a hero. An army for a tyrant. A reckoning long awaited, and a tale reaching its end. The riveting conclusion to the Wolf of the North trilogy.

The Narrator Makes The Story Worthwhile
Revisado: 02-20-18
This was a somewhat rushed and disappointing final book in the trilogy, however, Simon Vance can pretty much make any story worth listening to. He is by far the best narrator that I have listened to on Audible. I make a point of searching for books by narrator - I would rate this book as a “B” or even “B-,” but with Simon’s narration skills, he easily turns this book into a “B+/A-.” Please note that despite this book being slightly disappointing, if you have already invested time in the first two books of the trilogy I would recommend finishing the tale, if only for the sake of continuity.
