Historia
In the summer of 1994, psychologist Daniel Hill buys a rustic farmhouse nestled in the rolling hills of West Virginia. Along with his wife and teenage daughter, the family uproots their lives in Ohio and moves south. They are initially seduced by the natural beauty of the country setting. That soon changes when they discover a hidden room in the basement with a well, boarded shut and adorned with crucifixes. Local legends about the previous owner being an exorcist come to light, but by then, all Hell has broken loose.

Creepy
Revisado: 06-06-23
Loved it! It held my attention from start to finish and I could not stop listening! Narrator was good, too (it’s always funny hearing men do female voices)!

Historia
In a boarded-up house on a dead-end street at the edge of the wild Washington woods lives a family of three. A teenage girl who isn’t allowed outside, not after last time. A man who drinks alone in front of his TV, trying to ignore the gaps in his memory. And a house cat who loves napping and reading the Bible. An unspeakable secret binds them together, but when a new neighbor moves in next door, what is buried out among the birch trees may come back to haunt them all.

Insanely great
Revisado: 04-22-22
What a superb experience! This was so different and very entertaining as well as emotional (almost roller coaster-esque). I loved it and have since recommended it to others. The afterword was also great to listen to, but definitely must be done after finishing the entire story. Great job to all involved!

Historia
In 1977, Claire Lake, Oregon, was shaken by the Lady Killer Murders: Two men, seemingly randomly, were murdered with the same gun, with strange notes left behind. Beth Greer was the perfect suspect - a rich, eccentric 23-year-old woman, seen fleeing one of the crimes. But she was acquitted, and she retreated to the isolation of her mansion.

Not the Sun Down Motel
Revisado: 04-07-22
I love this Author, but nothing compares to her Sun Down Motel work. That book was amazing and so I expected more hauntings and scare the crap out of me type stuff. This was not it. Hopefully her next work will live up to my expectations, because when she writes something well, she writes it so well!

Great Narrator
Revisado: 08-04-21
Man, this was a great find! The story was wonderful, I loved the the way the chapters were set up, and the characters were so vividly described that I could actually see in them in my head and caused me to have personal feelings towards. I was so attached to this book I even listened in the shower, there was never a dull moment. But in addition, the narrator was so amazing that it cause me to love it even more. I don’t know if I could’ve had as an enjoyable experience reading it myself, to be honest. All in all, I loved everything about this audiobook and I truly felt as if I was seeing it play out in my head, which is indicative of a great experience in literature, in my opinion. Thank you to the writer and narrator alike! Kudos!
