Michaels wife has to go. Good grief
Revisado: 12-27-24
Decent story. Narrator just ok but I had to fast forward anytime Michael and his wife were together. Nothing but complaining. It was impossible to listen to.

Narrator
Revisado: 04-01-24
It was a pretty good story for most of the book. The last 20% either was written sloppy or mis-read. Calling characters by the wrong names. Saying they said things they hadn't. Also became a little disjoined and confusing.

Good story. Bad narration. No voice change between characters. I had to continually rewind to follow who was speaking. Female Russian voice very difficult to understand

Viktor Orlov had a longstanding appointment with death. Once Russia’s richest man, he now resides in splendid exile in London, where he has waged a tireless crusade against the authoritarian kleptocrats who have seized control of the Kremlin. His mansion in Chelsea’s exclusive Cheyne Walk is one of the most heavily protected private dwellings in London. Yet somehow, on a rainy summer evening, in the midst of a global pandemic, Russia’s vengeful president finally manages to cross Orlov’s name off his kill list.

Too political
Revisado: 08-01-22
First off, the narrator was fine but I'm so used to George doing the reading it was very hard to adjust.
During the sorry the early on references to Covid and politics seemed reasonable. The last part of the book the political commentary was way way too much and worse yet, added nothing to the story.
