Functional and applicable prayers

Great book, not only do we learn about how to pray but we also learn more about the author. Knowing the struggles he has had to overcome and embrace makes him much more relatable. If you are tired of your same petitions and earnestly seek to be challenged and to grow in your prayer life give this book a listen.

If you could sum up The Solomon Seduction in three words, what would they be?
Three words would be extremely limited and not do it justice.This book offers a different view of the ubiquitous story of Solomon.This book presents what mile markers to be aware of when heading down the wrong path and what to do to avoid it. Practical biblical information that can transcend any male generation and for years to come.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Solomon Seduction?
For me, it was the stark contrast of Solomon's heart when he became king and the closing years of his life. How "our love" for God can stay the same yet our obedience diminishes. Though Solomon's ending wasn't glorious, his life was an ironic lesson for those that choose to learn from the wisest fool that ever lived.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
