Performance
Revisado: 11-18-23
I was looking forward to listening to this book after hearing so much about it. I made the mistake not listening to the sample. I realized after half an hour of listening that I don't like the performance at all and stopped listening.

Historia
Filled with practical advice and lessons, and backed by extensive research by Gentry and others, this book lays out the art, science, and practice behind learning and leading as a first time manager. Through first-hand accounts, stories, and other examples drawn from the experiences of first-time managers - including Gentry's own story of recently become a first-time manager himself - the book's practical, actionable content helps readers flip the old script, and write and live their new script.

very repetitive
Revisado: 08-19-22
Be the Boss Everyone Wants to work For, by Ph.D. William A. Gentry is very repetitive. The language used sounds like a middle school student wrote it and not a Ph.D.
The presentation and repetitiveness was so bad, that it was impossible for me to finish. I selected this book, because it was mentioned by Brene Brown in her book 'Dare to Lead' Gentry, also mentioned Brene Brown in his book and I felt Brown felt obligated to promote him.

Poor Performance takes away from a good message
Revisado: 01-23-20
The message of the book “Power to Heal yourself” is good and the six steps Dr. Paul writes about are helpful.
The book doesn’t feel like a book the way it is narrated. As a listener I feel like I am listening to an unedited lecture. There are many comments from the audience and many hahs from the facilitator.
I struggled threw the poor performance only because I liked some of the content.

Letting Go
Revisado: 06-01-17
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Letting Go, by Brittany Hallison, would be enjoyed by a student who is writing a paper about letting go. It is more a list of ways to let go, than a boo, that can be read/
Would you ever listen to anything by Brittany Hallison again?
I don't think this is meant to be listened to. This book is more to study.
What about Allyson Voller’s performance did you like?
Her voice is pleasant.
