Weren't women supposed to have "arrived"? Perhaps with the nation's first female president, equal pay on the horizon, true diversity in the workplace to come thereafter? Or at least the end of "fat shaming" and "locker room talk"? Well, we aren't quite there yet. But does that mean that progress for women in business has come to a screeching halt? It's true that the old rules didn't get us as far as we hoped. But we can go the distance, and we can close the gaps that still exist. We just need a new way.

The book wasn’t exactly what I thought it was going to be, but it definitely had some great advice, financial and career-wise. I definitely recommend to any woman out there. Single or otherwise.

Good narration, well-written story.

Sam Scholl’s voice is great for narrating news stories, and Erica Johnston really knows how to write an excellent feature. I was rather surprised to learn that the dad earned a six-figure salary, though. This is a rare situation that a family consists of 13 children, this situation is not typical for most families who want to learn to be debt free. Although, I suppose the same principles could be applied, albeit on a smaller salary, I’m sure.
