entertaining for a long car ride

We chose this after listening to Andy Weir's Hail Mary Project. That might be one of our all-time favorite sci-fi books with a perfect performance. We did not think that this measures up, but not many things will. It was, however, quite entertaining and enjoyable. The development of the flawed main character and supporting characters was very well crafted and the story had plenty of twist and turns. Overall it rates a strong recommendation.

I am over the moon for this book.

It took a tiny bit of patience to get hooked, but once I was, I did not want it to end. i cannot imagine that reading this book would be as fabulous as listening to the performance. It was totally brilliant. I rarely gush over anything, but I have sung praises about this book and its reader to everyone. I was never bored, never disappointed, and the worst part of the book was that it ended. But even the ending was perfect. I do not want to say a word about plot, character development or the story line. I don't want to spoil a thing for the reader. 5 stars on every criterion. My wife is now under its spell and loving it.
